COVID-19 Distribution

The Nunavut Food Bank would like to thank all our clients and volunteers who have helped make our services continue and contribute during the past year’s COVID19 restrictions. If we didn’t have all this support, we wouldn’t have been able to continue to keep our programs running and helping the people in our communities.

As restrictions are slowly removed and things return to normal, we will continue to support a variety of programs and distributions that are flexible and continue to move forward.

Iqaluit food bank to use database to register clients, serve them better

“Data allows us to see things like the percentage of our clients who come … without fail”

Iqaluit’s Niqinik Nuatsivik Nunavut Food Bank recently started using a new registration system to better serve its clients.

As a result, the food bank is able to know clients by name and better understand their needs, chair Bruce McRae told the organization’s annual general meeting on Monday.
