Help make real Change & Volunteer!

Who are we?

The Food Bank of Nunavut Food Bank (NNNFB) was established in 2001 as a Nunavut-based non-profit organization to help reduce hunger in Iqaluit and Nunavut. The number of family services grew from 30 to 145 in 2024.

The NNNFB is well-managed and operated by volunteers in the community, with approximately 100 volunteers. All funds used for operating are awarded to businesses, organizations, and individuals. NNFB does not receive any funding from Canada or territory. The 2025 annual budget was $75,000. 98% of all funding is used to purchase foods for our clients. The remainder of the money is used for our distribution of our leases, director’s insurance, and printing, post office, and fund-raising expenses.
